Book one of two in The Belonging Duet

Men suck.

They break you. Leave you. Take everything until there’s nothing left. And frankly, I’m done allowing them to make me feel insignificant. So, forget men. I’ll just throw myself into my job, because at least that never fails me.

Jackson has other plans, though. I refuse to be impressed by his perfect body, the cute dimple on his cheek, or the rugged stubble on his face. Jackson Cole can be resisted.

But, I’m only fooling myself.

He’s going to wear me down. I can feel it. In the end he’ll prove that once again, I’m no one’s beloved.

  • Poor

    By Great super duper book!!!
There was a lack of authentic vulnerability. Every moment that was “vulnerable” was masked by something sexual or turned into something sexual. They were really strangers trying to be more without knowing each other. Then when they did try to “know” each other, all they did was argue about running away, maul each other or fight. This was poorly written. Glad it was free.
  • Best love story ever, hands down!

This book is impeccably heartfelt, and I swear; I could feel all of Catherine’s pain. There were times I wanted to slap her, but this book is so RAW! There are times when you have to just close the book and walk away, but my heart and mind crooned for Catherine and Jackson! Please read this!

  • Cliffhanger to Buy Second Book

Storyline and plot were repetitive. Book ends in the middle of the storyline to get you to purchase book #2. Not worth it.
  • Hands down, an AMAZING book!

This is a BREATHTAKING book! I thought that it was going to be a traditional romance book, but this book exceeded my expectations. I must say, this book will make you wanna throw it and you will get angry. I was so surprised by the theme of this book... And because of it, I have read this book about 45 times now😂 READ IT!!!!!

  • Loved it!

I absolutely loved this book! Catherine and Jackson gave me all the feels. Corinne’s writing is beautiful, powerful and tugs at your heart strings. She is one of my favorite authors and I have read everything she has wrote. I've been horrible at leaving reviews and trying to do it now. This book and its sequel is so worth reading! Everything she writes is.

I hate books that force you to buy the next in the series. While this book was good- not great-it is only the start of the story. The description should state that its only part of the story. To read such a long, drawn out story and have no end is very annoying. The main character is really screwed up, and it gets repeated over and over. It gets monotonous.
